About Dr. Lee Kai-Fu

                                                     李开复博士于2005年7月20日加入Google（谷歌）公司，并担任Google（谷歌）全球副总裁兼大中华区总裁，负责Google（谷歌）中国公共关系事务以及Google（谷歌）中国工程研究院的运营工作。

    加盟Google（谷歌）之前，李开复博士在微软公司担任全球副总裁。在微软期间，李开复博士曾创办世界瞩目的研究实验室微软中国研究院（现为微软亚洲研究院），并任首任院长。此前，李开复还曾担任SGI公司副总裁兼总经理，负责互联网和多媒体软件业务。李开复博士还曾在苹果电脑公司工作了六年，担任主管互动媒体业务的副总裁。在加入苹果公司之前，李开复博士是内基梅隆大学的助教，他开发出了世界上第一个“非特定人连续语音识别”系统。在校期间，李开复博士还开发了“奥赛罗”人机对弈系统，因为1988年击败了人类的国际奥赛罗棋世界冠军而闻名。

    李博士在语音识别、人工智能、三维图形及网络多媒体等领域享有很高的声誉。他曾开发出世界上第一个“非特定人连续语音识别系统”，并被《商业周刊》1988年授予 “最重要科学创新奖”。他同时还是美国电气电子工程师协会 (IEEE)的院士和美国华人精英组织百人会（Committee of 100）的成员。李开复毕业于卡内基梅隆大学，获计算机学博士学位，并曾以最高荣誉(summa cum laude)毕业于哥伦比亚大学，获计算机学士学位。
